Every morning you will receive a mindfulness practice, something you can contemplate, either as a journaling exercise or as a brief pause in your day to reflect on. I tip my hat to authors Scott and Davenport who wrote the book, “The Mindfulness Journal” which I am sharing with you, one day at a time, for free. I highly recommend purchasing the book, especially if you find nourishment writing in a journal, as this book is styled in journal form.
Why every day, the mind wonders (or whines about)? As scientific research has made clear over the years, the best way to become more aware of our thought patterns and to support a healthier and positive outlook- is daily mindful practice. The Mindfulness Journal- and the daily posts- takes a different focus each week to vary the prompts and stimulate the minds many nooks and crannies. What works for us? What is challenging?
Of course, I support the purchase of this book. Please consider buying from your local bookstore! If not, come along with me as we take these daily prompts to heart and allow them to open our hearts and minds. Register here:
